Welcome. I’m so glad you made it here.
About me
I know what it’s like to carry a lot, and to not always know what to do with all of it. I’ve spent a long time learning how to hold what’s complicated, in myself and in others.
I became a therapist because I believe in the kind of space where people can show up messy, uncertain, grieving, stuck — and still be met with care. This work matters to me because I know how hard it can be to feel like you have to hold it all alone.
Why I do this work
In session, I bring honesty, attunement, and a sense of humor. I use metaphor often. I curse (sometimes a lot). I’ve belly laughed with clients, and I’ve teared up with them too. Clients have described me as grounding, maternal, and gently challenging.
I see therapy as a relationship — one that makes space for your full inner experience, including intense emotions, unanswered questions, and parts you’re not even sure are there. My role is to stay with you while those things surface and unfold.
How I show up
When I’m not in session, I’m usually outside, watching a show I’ll inevitably philosophize about, or spending time with my people and pets. I’m drawn to movement that feels empowering, thoughtful conversations, and small rituals that make daily life feel more intentional. I sometimes daydream about living in the mountains, until I remember how much I’d miss takeout.
Outside the therapy room
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #9021) through the Louisiana LPC Board of Examiners. I hold a Master’s in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health from Southeastern Louisiana University, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Dance from LSU. I’m also a National Certified Counselor (NCC #1653820), and a member of both the American Counseling Association and the Louisiana Counseling Association.
I regularly engage in consultation, professional development, and therapy because it helps me offer the kind of presence this work deserves.
The formal stuff: training & ongoing work
Speaking & consultation
In addition to therapy, I’m passionate about bringing mental health conversations into schools, therapy practices, workplaces, and community spaces.
In an effort to demystify, educate, and help communities feel healthier and more supported, I offer public speaking and consultation. Topics often explore the human side of healing, emotional complexity, and the intersection of individual experience and systemic influence.
I’ll be sharing more soon, but in the meantime, feel free to reach out if you’re curious about working together. I’d love to hear from you.
